We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis with a significant background focused on SOX compliance. This role involves analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a key point of contact and subject matter expert on SOX compliance requirements within the organization, specifically within the healthcare domain.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Operations, to understand business processes and identify associated risks and controls.
Document and maintain detailed process flows, narratives, and control matrices in accordance with SOX requirements.
Perform gap analysis to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend effective remediation strategies.
Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls related to financial reporting and information technology systems.
Participate in and support internal and external SOX audits, including preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and tracking remediation efforts.
Utilize knowledge of database structures and security principles to assess and ensure the SOX compliance of data management processes.
Leverage tools such as Imperva to monitor and analyze database activity for potential security vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
Demonstrated experience working within the healthcare industry and a strong understanding of healthcare-specific regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
In-depth knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and its application to business processes and IT systems.
Solid understanding of database concepts, structures, and security principles.
Hands-on experience with database security and monitoring tools, preferably Imperva.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical and regulatory concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
