Job Summary: As an ABAP Developer with IS-U billing rates technical expertise, you will design, develop, and maintain SAP applications specifically in the IS-U module. Your primary focus will be on implementing and optimizing billing rates and processes to ensure efficient and accurate utility billing. You will collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs within the SAP IS-U module, with a focus on billing rates and related processes.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems in the IS-U module, and provide innovative solutions to improve processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement and configure billing rates, pricing components, and other related functionalities within IS-U.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations, to integrate billing systems with other SAP modules.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and cleansing as required to maintain data integrity within the system.
- Develop and maintain documentation for custom ABAP programs and configurations.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables.
- Provide support for ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the IS-U system.
- Stay current with SAP developments, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to the existing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an ABAP Developer, with a focus on SAP IS-U module and billing rates.
- Strong understanding of utility industry processes and SAP IS-U billing rates functionalities.
- Proficient in ABAP programming language and related technologies.
- Experience with data migration and integration projects within SAP IS-U.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- SAP certification in IS-U is a plus.
