Job Description:
In this role, you will partner closely with embedded UXR partners, design, engineering, and PM and drive research that supports partner teams in delivering an integrated, modern full stack developer platform for professional developers to create, deploy, and collaborate on
hybrid AI applications. You'll gain a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and your work will make a critical and measurable impact on creating best-in-class developer products.
- Understand - gain a deep understanding of developer tools, technologies, user motivations, market opportunities, and competition, as well as pain points for developers building hybrid AI applications.
- Envision - work with PM, ENG, and others in the Developer pillar to create a best-in-class experience for our users
- Research - provide strategic insights, conduct independent research on multiple aspects of how users experience developer tools, collect and analyze behavior through a variety of qualitative (and ideally quantitative) methods, understand & incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.
Deliverables:
Artifacts representing the end-to-end research process for studies aimed to help your partner team understand
(1) developer needs for AI across tooling and apps
(2) changes in developer needs in AI apps as new technologies emerge
(3) barriers to adoption of AI assistance and/or building GenAI feature into their appsInterpretation of research findings for work executed by an agency partner that focuses on both developer needs for assistance through our tooling (AI tooling / Assistance) and what is needed to support developers in incorporating AI into their apps (AI Applications / Stack)
