Job Title: Android Developer with Jetpack Compose
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite 3x a week)
Duration: 12+ month Contract role
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Jetpack Compose, Kotlin, and Java
- Collaborate with teams to define, design, and implement new features
- Ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices
- Debug and resolve technical issues for optimal performance
- Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries
Requirements:
- 6+ years in Android development
- Mandatory: 3+ years of Jetpack Compose experience
- Strong experience with Android SDK, Gradle/Maven, Git
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture (MVC, MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Experience with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and unit testing
- Bonus: Experience in iOS, Flutter, React Native, BLE, OAuth 2.0
