Application Architect Opportunity (100% Remote [In Wisconsin]; State of WI

- MAXIMUM RATE: $60.00/hour. This rate assumes a corp-to-corp or 1099 structure
- ROLE TITLE: Application Architect II
- WORK ARRANGEMENT: 100% Remote (in Wisconsin). Occasional travel to the DOC Central Office (1 2 times per quarter) will be required. The candidate must be a current Wisconsin resident at the time of submission (remaining in Wisconsin for the duration of the contract).
DETAILS
This position functions as an Application Architect for the Department of Corrections (DOC) Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) initiatives. Under the general supervision of the Collaboration and Project Management supervisor, this position will provide leadership and direction to the Collaboration and Project Management and Infrastructure staff on designing ITIL systems and solutions involving service management, change management, configuration management, and asset management.
- The position will be a member of the application development team, troubleshooting issues as they arise to ensure effective ITIL system solutions and associated application technology for the DOC.
- The individual will work closely with the functional user groups within DOC to ensure the effectiveness of system solutions deployed.
- This position will review detailed systems specifications to ensure that the development and support of new systems and the enhancement of existing systems are consistent with agency development and support methodologies, standards, and policies.
- This position also works closely with the Secretary's Office staff in administrating and developing their legal software.
