Job Summary
The IS&T Audio Visual (A/V) support technician role will be responsible for implementation and support of video conferencing and conference room audio/visual solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
" Perform conference room health checks to ensure audio visual and video conferencing systems are operating at optimal conditions
" Resolve and track support requests and incidents, escalate issues to proper support teams
" Support A/V upgrades and installations
" Facilitate A/V vendor activities
" Support and troubleshoot Apple devices (Apple TVs, iPads, MacBooks, iMacs)
" Track and document A/V inventory
Key Qualifications
" Good understanding of video conferencing and AV switching and control hardware (Cisco, Crestron, Extron preferred)
" Good understanding of network technologies and security concepts
" Excellent problem solving abilities
" Able to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and complete tasks on time
" Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels (staff to executive)
" Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools
" Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Fluency in Spanish Language
Experience and Education
" 1+ years related experience
" Certified A/V Technician preferred
