Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience
  • Work with dev team on the design and technical requirement for scalability of AWS IOT platform.
  • Recommend the appropriate technological approach, team structures, skill sets.
  • Guide configuration, debugging, and support for infrastructure and identity services.
  • Contribute to the development of standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Work with the technical team in preparing DR strategy for the platform.
  • Deliver architectural initiatives that drive and improve efficiency in line with business strategy.
  • Guide and manage the support strategic for the platform.
  • Manage business expectations of service availability and negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the business and third-party partners.
  • Integration and cohesion of developed or reviewed architecture solutions across all architectural layers.
  • Collaborate with product/program and project teams to understand needs.
  • Create/update architecture, network diagrams and any other relevant documentation.
  • Conduct peer reviews to solicit feedback on materials created.
  • Identifying the programming language, and framework, for creating a solution.
  • Identifying the risks associated with third-party platforms.
  • Ensuring that infrastructure and architecture are properly maintained.

Monitoring systems so that the business can meet its goals.

 

Core Skills

  • AWS Cloud Computing: A thorough understanding of AWS Cloud Computing is essential for an AWS IoT Core professional. This includes knowledge of AWS services such as Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, and Amazon RDS
  • Programming Languages: Should have experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Raspberry Pi OS. Need to understand MQTT standard/ framework and working experience in building IoT solutions.
  • IoT: Should have a good understanding of IoT concepts, including IoT architecture, IoT protocols, and IoT security.
  • Big Data: Should have experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Cloud Security: Good understanding of cloud security concepts, including encryption, access control, & network security.
  • AWS IoT Core: Should have a good understanding of AWS IoT Core, including device management, message broker, and rules engine.
