Job Description:
The AWS Engineer is a key technical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. Leveraging their deep understanding of AWS's suite of services, the AWS Engineer ensures that the company's cloud-based resources are secure, efficient, and meet the organization's needs.
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Infrastructure Management: Set up, manage, and scale applications on AWS while ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Design and Development: Design and build infrastructure on AWS, utilizing its service-oriented architecture. Develop scripts for automating client/server functions and to streamline operational processes in AWS.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security and compliance protocols for AWS environments. Ensure the cloud infrastructure aligns with the company's security standards.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support in all AWS environments and resolve any issues related to deployed AWS applications.
- Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and manage costs to optimize the usage of AWS resources.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and support the deployment of microservices and serverless applications.
- Additional Details For Role:
- ReactJS, Typescript, Extensive AWS experience (incl. Cloudscape Design system and AWS CDK, S3, Cloudwatch, Bedrock, AmazonQ, Lambda, CloudTrail, APIGateway, IAM)
- Microfrontends expertise & UX pattern implementation
- Backend development with a strong focus on security and Identity.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Java.
- Good communication skills.
