Job Description


The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business and IT as part of the PMO Project Management Office. This position will take an organization-wide view of the changes, from a holistic perspective. Focused on understanding stakeholders’ input, data flow, end-to-end processes, and technology. You would assist with projects by leading or supporting a variety of initiatives through planning, execution, and measuring impact. This would be accomplished by driving beginning-to-end project management and delivery of initiatives, providing frequent and timely communication to share status and raise risks and developing strategic delivery plans and initiatives for and across different functional areas.

Major Duties:
• Document and analyze current and future state processes and system interfaces to identify. process improvement opportunities aimed at increasing process quality and efficiency.
• Create and execute quality project plans to support transformation across the business.
• Provide visibility to project managers and sponsors on progress against approaching milestones, issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Establish relationships with business partners and IT department to provide process solutions to meet user needs.
• Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Help lead planning sessions related to projects or new technologies intended to implement process improvement within the functional area.
• Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
• Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to the business to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge.

Experience:
• 3-5 Years of experience working as a business analyst or business systems analyst
• 1-3 Years of experience planning and/or managing projects
• Track record of managing and delivering projects and business requirements.
• Demonstrates a high level of initiative and seeks and encourages others to implement new solutions to challenges.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively problem solve.
• Strong influencing and partnering skills across all levels of the organization.
• Enjoy working on a highly collaborative team.
• Demonstrated ability to own projects and deliver changes.
• Use industry knowledge to recommend options that will optimize company functions or processes.
• Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements; gather processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
• Experience utilizing business management tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio.
