The Business Analyst/Data Analyst will engage in daily business and data analysis activities. Responsibilities will encompass conducting analyses, planning, aiding in the management of project deliverables, updating the project plan via Microsoft Project, and facilitating communication between the technical team and business users. This position will contribute to the analysis of two distinct data structures to facilitate the conversion and development of a new data model for a large-scale data warehouse, utilizing complex SQL. Key tasks include providing guidance for solutions, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the design, development, and implementation (DDI) phases of the project.
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct analysis of Medicaid enrollment, provider, and claims data, assess current business processes and systems, identify requirements for new processes and systems, document data anomalies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective resolution. Collaborate with internal teams and customers on business documentation and updates. Facilitate meetings with user groups, documenting meeting minutes, action items, and decisions. Support the DDI Project Manager as necessary, including maintaining the Microsoft Project Plan/Schedule for the DDI project. Create professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. Assist with data quality testing and coordinate follow-ups with the business, ETL, and QA teams. Share use cases with data analysts for profiling, review results, and assess compliance with Medicaid/CMS processes and guidelines. Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining available for questions and clarifications from data analysts.
