Job Description :
Role : Data Analyst
Location : Anywhere in USA
Visa : OPT/ STEM OPT
Experience : minimum 3+yrs
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to track key network performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics relevant to telecom infrastructure.
Leverage strong knowledge of Telecom and Network KPIs (e.g., latency, throughput, availability, packet loss, call drop rate) to create accurate and insightful reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders) to identify, define, and refine KPIs and reporting requirements.
Integrate data from various sources including Grafana, SNOW, and Snowflake to create comprehensive reports and dashboards.
Use Python for data manipulation, automation of data extraction, and ensuring that ETL processes are efficient and accurate.
Ensure data quality and accuracy through continuous monitoring and validation of data pipelines.
Optimize Power BI reports for performance, usability, and effective decision-making.
Develop and maintain automated reporting and alerting systems for real-time network monitoring.
Provide ad-hoc data analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Document and maintain technical specifications, user guides, and report methodologies.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in creating and managing Power BI dashboards and reports, particularly in a telecom environment.
Strong experience with Grafana, SNOW, AWS and Snowflake.
Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and report generation.
Strong knowledge of Telecom and Network KPIs, such as latency, throughput, availability, call drop rate, jitter, and packet loss.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Power BI reports for better performance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
