Data Architect (Senior) | Offsite / Washington DC | 1) The Data Architect (Senior) shall be responsible for leading successful implementations and focusing on how solutions address the broader business and technical needs of ITA, including the promotion of organizational health as it relates to Data Services. 2) The Data Architect must understand Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions and other third-party technologies, such as BA Insight connectors that permit Azure Cognitive Search to access additional data sources. 3) The Data Architect will also be responsible for supporting and advising teams within ITA that develop new products that will transition to the client 4) Ensures the successful implementation and day to day operation of database systems supporting critical Company or client systems. 5) Designs, models, documents, and guides the logical and conceptual relationship of data and database changes for complex applications. 6) Analyzes needs and requirements of existing and proposed systems, and develops technical, structural, and organizational specifications 7) May create standards and/or do modeling to monitor and enhance capacity and performance 8) Communicates with technical, applications, and operational staff, to design an optimal database architecture (performance, accessibility, backup, and recovery plan). 9) Analyzes and makes recommendations for improvements to existing software regarding database performance, stability, usability and scalability. 10) Performs logical and physical data modeling, designs relational database models and creates physical data models from logical data models. Designs database servers and interfaces to improve database and application performance. Supports the development effort by authoring stored procedures, functions, views and check constraints. | Bachelor's Degree in the field or related area Mimimum 10+ years’ experience and be Microsoft Certified Power Platform Solution Architect Expert Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Master, or equivalent |
