Role: Data Engineer
Duration: 6 Months + possibility of extensions
Location: Kansas City, MO (Prefer local candidates)
The data is made up of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, sexual orientation, etc., that they are required to capture and report on.
- Enrollment Solution-Transform third-party enrollment Health Equity data into Snowflake and enable PowerApps/PowerBI for reporting.
- Non-Standard File Solution-Collaborate with the analytics team to standardize the Employee Reporting file format, pull data into Snowflake and enable PowerApps/PowerBI for reporting
- Error/Reprocessing function-Develop and error/reprocessing function for both the Enrollment and Non-Standard File Solution.
- Azure- These will need to be senior level consultants that are strong with Snowflake and should have experience in the health care space with a focus on Payer's (insurers)
- Develops and implements business solutions. May fill the roles of Product, Program or Project Lead on a development team. Acts as technical mentor for the Development and Business Analyst teams.
- Develops and maintains documentation of programs, user guides, policies and procedures.
- Communicates project progress and status to the Manager and other development team members.
- Evaluates existing applications and systems. Recommends improvements or modifications utilizing current technologies and techniques.
- Evaluates employee performance and deliverables when managing a development team project
- May determine training needs, mentor and recommend selection, termination, promotion, and reassignment of subordinates to their manager.
- Must maintain knowledge of current and upcoming technologies keeping an eye on external competitive trends and best practices.
- Required to create business solutions using knowledge and application of multiple technologies and applications.
Requirment: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education
