Database Developer who can work for their office in Atlanta, GA, 30312

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 - 7 years work experience in a similar Database development position
  • Proven experience in Database development using SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server (5+ years)
  • Expertise in relational database design and administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) (5+ years)
  • Experience writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers (5+ years)
  • Solid understanding of database security principles
  • Experience building and deploying applications in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD methodologies

Soft Skills Required:

  • Strong ability to write clear, concise, and well-organized technical documentation, including system documentation, process documentation, and user guides.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Comfortable working in an on-site environment (Atlanta, GA)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with geographically dispersed co-workers (experience working with multi-located teams)

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with database administration tasks such as backup and recovery, security management, and performance tuning is a plus.
