Immediate need for a talented Design Draftsman. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Akron, OH(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $28/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Skills-AutoCAD drafting/design,SAP/ Microsoft Tools and Gas/Utility/Construction knowledge.
  • Preferred Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • 5 years preferred.
  • Also focus less emphasis on AutoCad Experience (approximately 30% of the time would be doing AutoCad) more on the Records Keeping, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Organizational skills.
  • Gas pipeline design, utility knowledge, civil drafting/design knowledge of working in Right of Ways, Surveying background, any type of civil/roadway construction background, understanding/comprehension of SOP's.
  • Able to produce/update design drawings for gas pipeline projects.
  • Also research and provide company records to help produce project folders.
  • Organization is a must.
  • The understanding of the GIS, the awareness of safety, constructability of pipelines, land/easement documentation.
  • Electrical, petroleum, civil, mechanical, chemical, drafting schools
  • Civil would be the best fit, with Mechanical second but just an engineering brain with attention to detail and organizational skills being key.
