Net Full stack Developer / .Net backend Developer
Location: Seattle , WA , Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL , New York, NY (Onsite)
Duration : long term.


Our team is on a mission to expand Airline's sales channels and capabilities. NDC, pioneered by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), is set to revolutionize communication between airlines and travel agents. We are seeking a Senior Back-End Software Engineer Leads to play a pivotal role in this transformation. If you are a self-driven individual with strong ownership skills, a delivery and solution-oriented mindset, expertise in C#, .NET, Azure, CI/CD, and IaC, as well as in-depth knowledge of airline domain, we want you to be a part of our collaborative and forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Back-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient code.
  2. Ownership: Take ownership of projects, features, and tasks, from inception to delivery, and drive them to successful completion.
  3. Solution-Oriented Mindset: Identify problems, propose innovative solutions, and work collaboratively to address challenges that arise during development.
  4. Technology Expertise: Utilize your expertise in C#, .NET, Azure, CI/CD, and IaC to build and optimize applications that meet the company's objectives.
  5. Highly Collaborative: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other engineers, to ensure alignment with business goals and user requirements.
  6. Code Review: Perform and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code, ensure best practices, and mentor junior team members.
  7. Agile Development: Contribute to an Agile development environment, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to continuously improve development processes.
  8. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for your work, making it accessible to team members.
  9. Mentorship: Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to junior team members, fostering growth and development within the team.
  10. (Preferred) Airline Domain Knowledge: Apply your deep understanding of airline and/or travel industry practices to improve the NDC experience and drive delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on API development.
  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET, Azure, CI/CD, and IaC.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and with high quality.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in taking ownership of projects.
