We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a .NET Developer role.
Develop advanced automated systems as part of the IT Scheduled Releases team. Manage all phases of the system development life cycle, including analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving software, data, hardware, and reporting issues for internal and external clients. Design, develop, and test web applications that meet design, accessibility, and usability requirements. Document processes, review specification changes, and create test cases for defects related to new or updated policies. Build logical, well-structured programs that are well-documented and maintainable. Ensure compliance with documentation standards and management objectives. Perform additional duties as needed to support operations.
Required Skills:
- Experience developing .NET web applications using Asp.Net MVC, C# and LINQ
- Experience using SQL (Structured Query Language)
- Experience using Version Control
- Recent experience with Razor View Engine and/or Entity Framework
- Experience developing Java web applications
- Experience with web development
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap
- Experience with ORM related technologies
- Experience with AWS, Container technologies (Docker, Kuber)
- Experience using Microfocus ALM Octane (Application Lifecycle Management)
- Experience with building Accessible web applications
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices and techniques of application programming and software design
- Ability to accurately test software applications use a data driven development approach
Preferred Skills:
- Texas Workforce Commission experience
