Firewall Migration Engineer (Fortinet to Palo Alto) / SME

3 Days Onsite - 1925 W John Carpenter Fwy #300, Irving, TX 75063 or Dallas, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • Perform migration of Fortinet firewalls to Palo Alto firewalls/Panorama.
  • Configure, deploy, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Convert firewall rules, security policies, and configurations.
  • Set up and troubleshoot IPsec VPNs.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Minimize downtime and mitigate risks during migration.
  • Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Proven experience in firewall migration projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to optimize security policies and network performance.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
