REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Must be a Developer with some Administration
  • At least 10 years in Informatica PowerCenter development REQUIRED
  • Production support environment, should be handling development effort as well as the admin activities. Day to day migration support and handle the upgrades.
  • Admin experience
  • Manger is looking for ON-PREM experience - NOT IICS candidates with mostly IICS in the last few years will be rejected.
  • P&C experience required
  • Data Warehouse knowledge is critical
  • What work have YOU specifically done on Kimball Data Warehouses, not just dimensions and land the data in staging, but the whole thing
  • They do not need to have managed a team- but they are looking for a Senior go-to Tech Lead

Sr. Informatica PowerCenter Developers

The Informatica Developer will be primarily responsible for developing and supporting ETL code in Informatica PowerCenter for an enterprise data warehouse.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop new ETL and enhancements and modify existing code using Informatica PowerCenter. Work independently to develop, configure, and unit test programs from specs (source to target mappings).
  • Work closely with data architects, reporting team and application team on ETL development efforts.
  • Design and document ETL solutions for projects, estimate work effort and provide status of tasks.
  • Provide technical support for the administration and production support of Informatica.
  • Provide first and second level troubleshooting, and baseline and operational support.
  • Adhere to best practices and methodologies for ETL development team.
  • Present all work in design and code review sessions to senior team members.
  • Prepare documents that describe, and support code developed.
  • Identify improvements to the data warehouse environment. Work with the team to implement these solutions.
  • Escalate issues to the right party when required.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development for a data warehouse.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in development, maintenance, and enhancements of Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and processes.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience, includes the management and coordination of an Informatica team.
  • Has experience working with complex SQL.
  • Expertise with integration technologies and processes.
  • Has Query Surge experience.
  • Candidate has windows environment experience.
  • Possess knowledge of testing tools and techniques.
  • Has a working knowledge of Kimball design methodology.
