• Design and implement a robust, reliable, and secure wired and wireless network infrastructure for the new manufacturing facility
• Design and implement a robust, reliable, and secure data center infrastructure for the new data center manufacturing facility
• Ensure interoperability of the new network & data center infrastructure with existing network and data center infrastructure.
• Design and implement integration of existing and new Manufacturing, Automation, Supply Chain, and Operations Technology solutions & services
• Identify, propose, design, and deliver solutions that enable optimal user experience of network and data center capabilities to improve work efficiency, which can include leveraging cloud infrastructure services
• Adhere to and perform all work under Rentschler IT Project Management policies and procedures
• Document all work procedures information in the Rentschler IT knowledge repository
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of technical networking and/or data center experience
• Completed studies or certification in network engineering such as CCNP, CCNA or CCIE; VMware Certified and/or Extreme Network certifications preferred
• Experience working with Cisco or Extreme Networks wired and WiFi technologies required
• Experience working with Cloud Environments; Azure & Extreme Network Cloud Mgmt preferred
• Experience working with Microsoft Windows & SQL and VMWare server technologies required
