Java Backend with API Engineer

Must-Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of hands-on development experience
Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or Java.
Extensive experience with API development (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
Expertise in MongoDB and database design principles.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Background in implementing security best practices.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
Implement and manage MongoDB databases effectively.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize performance and ensure scalability of our backend systems.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
Ensure security and data protection standards are maintained.
Build and maintain a performant, reliable data pipeline to save cyberthreat metadata in a MongoDB and make it available via a versioned, authenticated internal API .
The API will be used to fetch data to display to customers.
