Role Description: We are looking for a highly capable, self-motivated and independent Oracle ODA & Database Migration Specialist. If you are passionate about Oracle database technology as well as operating system, this is the ideal role you ve been waiting for. Our team supports databases which are available ODA-7 machines. In this role, you will be asked to Migrate and upgrade the Database Competencies: Digital : Ruby on Rails, IT IS_AMS_Oracle Database Administration Experience (Years): 10 & Above Essential Skills: Oracle Database Appliance & Database Migration Specialist Oracle Applications (PeopleSoft) Technology and Architecture experience. Must have Experience in carrying out various database activities on different platforms (ODA (7 & 9), Linux, Windows, Unix & VM s) including server installation and configuration of different Version of oracle activities include designing physical layouts, performing post installation troubleshooting, Performance tuning, backup and recovery, query optimization and establishing the client server connectivity, database creation and multiple instance Maintenance, RMAN Duplicate, database link ,ASM, RAC, etc. . Good to have - Experience in Public sector organization Desirable Skills: Oracle Applications (PeopleSoft) Technology and Architecture experience. Design, develop, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Oracle Linux 8+ infrastructure Familiarity with virtualization technologies & migration. Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting Install and Configure hardware settings on the ODA 9 appliance, such as disk partitioning and RAID configurations. Proficiency in ODA 7 and 9 administrations Strong scripting skills (SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting) Deep understanding of Oracle Database architecture and administration Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle database in a standalone or RAC Environment Strong Core Oracle Database knowledge (18c and 19c) including RAC/ASM Grid Infrastructure (Cluster ware), Automatic Storage Management, Oracle Advanced File System, OS Clusterware & HA Setup etc. 5+ years of large-scale Database Migration and Modernization experience Keywords: Oracle ODA & Database Migration Specialist
