Application Administration:
· Provide expert-level administration, support, and troubleshooting for core enterprise tools (such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms), ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
· Automation & Standardization: Develop scripts and automate repetitive tasks to ensure consistent system health, security, and operational efficiency.
· Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of key applications, addressing bottlenecks and applying tuning strategies for enhanced responsiveness.
· User Support & Advocacy: Gather feedback from users, work closely with teams to understand their needs, and implement solutions that enhance user experience and improve platform adoption.
· System Liaison: Act as the primary technical contact with external vendors and partners, collaborating on issue resolution and staying updated on the latest system enhancements and best practices.
· Engineering Focus: Manage system upgrades, deployments, and troubleshooting from an engineering perspective to ensure stability, minimal downtime, and effective problem-solving.
· Integration Specialist: Evaluate, implement, and manage third-party integrations or plugins, ensuring they align with security, performance, and scalability goals.
· Security & Governance: Proactively identify and mitigate security risks, monitor system usage for potential abuse, and enforce governance policies to protect data integrity.
What We Need To See:
· Proven Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in administering and optimizing enterprise applications (experience with tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus).
· Technical Expertise: Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash) with a solid understanding of system administration, application engineering, and troubleshooting.
· Application Management Knowledge: Deep understanding of best practices in enterprise application management, performance tuning, and standardization.
· Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to monitor system health, track performance metrics, and resolve issues efficiently.
· Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work across diverse teams and stakeholders.
· Independent Problem Solver: Self-starter with a proactive approach to addressing complex technical challenges.
