Junior DBA
Location: Utica NY or Parsippany NJ – Hybrid - Need local candidates Only.
Duration: 6+ months
Interview: 15 mint zoom screening with PV then Skype with client
- Candidate will be required to be onsite 3 days a week
- 4-5 years of experience is sufficient for this role
- Experience as Database Administrator in SQL Server Environment
- Will assist Senior DBA with below duties
- Support database sizes about 200GB to 2TB in size
- Support multiple instances of SQL 2000-SQL 2014 in production environment with components including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Clusters.
- Design and document processes and procedures, database migration plans, database upgrade plans as per business requirements.
- Experience with Database Management and database monitoring tools such as DMVs, PerfMon, Profiler, Extended Events, third party tools such as Spotlight, Foglight , Performance Analyzer, Redgate SQL Monitor, Idera Diagnostic Manager, Idera SQLSafe , Litespeed
- Powershell, C# or .NET Scripting is a plus

• Able to communicate efficiently and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, extremely responsive, and able to prioritize a large number of tasks.
• Experienced with SQL installation on standalone and cluster servers across multi-subnet environments
• AWS/Microsoft Azure Services, Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, Windows Server Administration.
