Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.
- Collaborate with senior programmers and project managers to meet project goals, including the extraction and standardization of data from Federal Presentence Investigation Reports (PSRs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and bugs.
- Utilize tools and technologies such as Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for text mining and data extraction tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in programming or software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies and life cycles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
