Responsibilities:
• Manage the design, installation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless environments.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the network, supporting mission-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot network issues, ensuring minimal downtime through proactive monitoring and incident resolution.
• Implement upgrades, patches, and system configurations using network tools like Cisco Network Assistant, SolarWinds NPM, and Wireshark.
• Perform network assessments, audits, and optimization efforts to ensure efficient operation and adherence to security policies.
• Lead disaster recovery (DR) efforts, ensuring that the network is ready for any contingencies.
Qualifications:
• Certifications:
o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
o CompTIA Network+.
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) recommended but not mandatory.
o Client Experience in Network Management is mandatory
• Skills and Experience:
o 7-10 years of experience in network administration and management.
o Proficiency with Cisco routers and switches, Juniper, Fortinet, and firewall systems.
o Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds NPM and StatSeeker.
o Solid understanding of network security protocols (IPsec, SSL/TLS) and VPN configurations.
