Description:
Technical resource to resolve a problem in our implementation of Puppet / r10k as it relates to Linux / Red Hat servers in our environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
General Systems Administration type support of approximately 200 Red Hat servers running on-premises & in Azure
Repair an unsupported Puppet / r10k implementation which is preventing updates to the sssd configuration file used for automation & centralized management.
Other Responsibilities / Requirements:
Deep knowledge of:
* Azure IaaS
* Ansible
* Puppet
* Red Hat current distros
* RHEL Satellite / Capsule
* Management & Rotation of Linux server local account passwords using our deployed
* Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform (Secret Server)
Knowledge of Red Hat best practices and demonstrated experience adhering to them.
Reporting into IT&S Infrastructure Manager on progress / blockers.
Identify, organize, communicate, and escalate information necessary for success.
Active participation in triage & requests, team meetings, and provide information for documentation.

Description:
Technical resource to perform day-to-day system administration activities related to Linux / Red Hat servers in our environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
1. General Systems Administration type support of approximately 200 Red Hat servers running on-premises & in Azure
a. Day-to-day care & feeding
b. Incident & Request ticket response
c. OS patching support
2. Support & management of Pacemaker agent(s) & cluster(s)
3. Support & management of STONITH fence agent(s) & cluster(s)
4. Analysis of logs to support the business applications leveraging Pacemaker & STONITH
5. Support & management of Red Hat Capsule / Satellite platform for patching along with Ansible, Puppet & r10k for automation both on-prem & Azure
6. Support & management of Microsoft Tunnels server(s)
7. Migrate from Azure Native Backups to Rubrik Cloud Data Protection for Azure IaaS
8. Document standards and procedures related to Linux / Red Hat systems to be shared with and followed by other System Administrators
