Loan IQ SDK Developer / Senior Java Developer with LOAN IQ Iselin, NJ (Need Onsite day 1, Hybrid 3 days from office, No Remote). Duration: 12 months Position type: W2 contract / FTE Job Description:

We are looking for candidates having hands on experience as a Loan IQ SDK Developer / Senior Java Developer with LOAN IQ. We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Finastra's Loan IQ platform to support project or production issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust solutions utilizing the Loan IQ Software Development Kit (SDK) and creating custom APIs to enhance and extend the functionality of Loan IQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and develop extensions and enhancements to the Loan IQ platform using the Loan IQ SDK.
  • Create robust, efficient, and secure Loan IQ custom APIs to support business requirements.
  • Provide technical support for project and production issues, including troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design comprehensive solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Loan IQ customizations, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of Loan IQ functionalities.
  • Document technical specifications, design patterns, and API methods.
  • Mentor junior developers and share Loan IQ SDK knowledge with the development team.
  • Stay updated with the latest Loan IQ features and SDK updates.
  • Assist in defining and evolving software development standards and best practices within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of Java development experience, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level applications.
  • Proven experience with Finastra's Loan IQ SDK and familiarity with Loan IQ data model and business processes.
  • Experience in creating and using custom APIs in a financial services context.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and coding best practices.
  • Knowledge of database design and SQL, preferably with experience in Oracle or similar RDBMS.
  • Familiarity with the full SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience with Loan IQ table maintenance and setup.
  • Knowledge of Loan IQ batch framework and accounting.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with source control management, continuous integration, and automated testing.
