SCOPE OF SERVICES :
The Battery Park City Authority (“BPCA”) utilizes customized Microsoft Excel Workbooks, some with nearly 250 macros or more, (the “Workbooks”). The Workbooks were created in Microsoft Excel 1997, which is no longer supported by more recent versions of the software. The purpose of this project is to update the Workbooks for uninterrupted use in the most recent version of Microsoft Excel.
BPCA requires the services of a Microsoft Excel Consultant who will:
· Review the current version of the Workbooks and related functions and macros.
· Develop new or upgrade all necessary macros to perform the same functions for optimal use in the current version(s) of Excel. This should include completing testing, in a test environment, as well as implementation verifying the Workbooks perform as they had in Microsoft Excel 1997 or as may be improved.
· Ensure that there are no circular references or other errors in the Workbooks.
· Provide consulting services, as requested, related to scripting and MS Office capabilities that will provide more robust and user-friendly solutions for BPCA’s needs.
· Create written Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation, as appropriate, regarding the newly developed macros and other solutions.
· Must be knowledgeable in Great Plains Dynamic and Microsoft Access
