Can you please provide a brief description of the daily duties using the technology tools above?
Code for the USAA mobile application using Swift for the iOS version and Kotlin for the Android version as well as our API services. A great candidate will be full stack, familiar with all three development platforms, but at least should be proficient in one language for hire. Candidates will be expected to become full stack, developing for both mobile platforms and APIs.
We also pair program, to the candidate must be willing to work along-side another engineer as an open and active member of a pair.

Software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within a specific discipline(s)/technology(s)
Engaged in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle which include; gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, testing, documenting and implementing software, responding to outages
Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and ensure these risks are effectively identified and escalated to be measured, monitored and controlled
Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities
Design, develop, code, and test significant technical solutions collaborating with other engineers
Independently resolves complex production issues and leads troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions that span multiple applications and systems
