Job Description
The D365 Consultant will provide technical support, maintenance, and configuration for the D365 platform, focusing on insurance, legal, and tax applications.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, optimizing application performance, and customizing the D365 environment to meet business needs.
Prior experience with Dynamics 365 Sales is essential, and knowledge of Customer Service and Customer Insights is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
•Configure Dynamics 365 applications according to business requirements.
•Customise and configure workflows to facilitate D365 integration with other applications.
•Develop and test detailed functional designs for business solution components.
•Supervise application build, test, and deploy activities.
•Plan and execute data conversion activities.
•Drive test planning and execution.
•Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Dynamics 365 issues.
•Evaluate the current state of Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, strategizing improvements and maximizing existing processes.
•Participate in project and implementation activity to support service readiness ahead of go-live.
•Provide post-implementation support and training to users.
•Provide first and second-level support for insurance, legal and tax applications.
•Work closely with the IT Security team to ensure all IT Support services satisfy internal and external risks and compliance requirements.
•Provide training and support to the core customer base.
•Contribute to cost management responsibilities associated with good housekeeping of application license costs.
•Maintain and support improvement initiatives associated CMDB.
•Ensure that all information whether in the CMDB or in other supporting application such as Confluence are an accurate reflection of IT estate.
Qualifications:
•A demonstrable record of D365 application configuration.
•A deep understanding of D365 products and client applications.
•Knowledge of business application integration
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
•Proven experience in application support, preferably in the insurance industry.
Preferred Skills:
•Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
•Experience with Power Platform and Power Apps solutions.
•Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
•Experience with insurance software applications.
•Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the insurance sector.
•Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks.
