Job Description:

Must Haves:

15+ years related experience required with 20+ years of experience in developing high-performance network software highly preferred
Expert-level knowledge of network protocols, including routing protocols (UDP/TCP) and DNS
Experience in operating and maintaining critical internet infrastructure
Experience with high-performance network technologies such as Linux XDP, Intel’s DPDK, or Netmap
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with network APIs (gRPC, REST, SOAP, Netconf, XML)
Experience with network automation tools (ansible, terraform, nornir)
Experience with network configuration templating (jinja2, python, vault

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and optimization of high-performance network automation.
Provide expert guidance on network protocols, including routing protocols such as BGP as well as UDP/TCP and DNS.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure meticulous diligence to maintain the security and reliability of critical internet infrastructure.
Mentor and guide network engineering and operations personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals and regulatory requirements.
