ROLE: NETWORK TECHNICIAN
LOCATION: Tallahassee FL (Nearby candidates within 50 miles) Onsite role
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Contractor must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
5.1. Two years of experience configuring, supporting and troubleshooting Dell N-Series network switches
for a converged Data, Voice and Video network infrastructure;
5.2. Two years of Open Manage Network Manage administration and support experience;
5.3. Two years of experience as Tier2 Customer Support working with remote users and Field IT support to
resolve support tickets; and
5.4 Two years of network administration experience working with Dell technical support.
6. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
6.1. SERVICE TASKS: Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
6.1.1 Develop and maintain the Department's Dell Technical Account Manager and Technical Account
Support communication channels for extended Dell support as assigned by the Department or as
required for maintaining network availability.
6.1.2. Administer and support the Department's Dell network infrastructure solution to maintain the
highest level of availability as assigned by the Department.
6.1.3. Assist in development of test plans for network solutions or changes to meet user-defined
requirements in the time and manner specified by the Network Manager or Team Lead as
directed by the Department.
6.1.4. Provide analytical services documenting network issues and solutions applicable to customer
requests for additions and changes to network services as assigned by the Department.
6.1.5. Conduct Pilot projects and research into new network technology solutions to support current or
new processes in the time and manner specified by the Network Manager or Team Lead as
directed by the Department.
6.1.6. Administer and customize the Departments' Open Manage Network Manage monitoring system
to manage network devices, log events and provide reports on network availability as assigned
by the Department.
6.1.7. Assist in the administer and configuration of DOH Citrix ADC Load Balancing VPN and Web
Application firewalls.
