Role: NodeJS. Developer
Location: Sterling Virginia (Locals to Virginia will be required)
Hybrid model: 3-4 days onsite a week is mandatory.
COMPLETE REMOTE IS NOT AVAILABLE.
Position type: W2 contract.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building high-performance applications and services using Node.js, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable server-side applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Node.js.
  • Design and develop server-side applications and microservices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Manage and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Good experience with ReactJS
  • Implement security and data protection best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular) is a plus.
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
