Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Design, develop, and implement applications using Pega's BPM platform, including both front-end (user interface) and back-end (process management) components. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Pega’s no-code/low-code environment. Process Automation: Automate business processes using Pega’s process modeling and workflow capabilities, improving operational efficiency. Integration: Work on integrating Pega with external systems and data sources, such as databases, web services, and other applications. Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing, system testing, and troubleshooting to ensure that the application is working as expected. Identify bugs and issues and apply fixes. Maintenance and Support: Provide post-deployment support, monitor application performance, and resolve any operational issues that arise. Pega Rules Management (PRPC): Use Pega’s rules engine to develop and manage business rules and policies for effective process management. Deployment and Configuration: Assist in the deployment of Pega applications across different environments (development, staging, production) and configure Pega environments for optimal performance. Documentation: Document application design, processes, and technical specifications for future reference or handover. Compliance & Security: Ensure that applications comply with security and regulatory standards. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficiency in Pega’s BPM suite (Pega 7/8/Infinity), Pega PRPC, and related technologies like Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Pega Certifications: Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification is often required. Experience: Typically 6+ years of experience in Pega development, with hands-on experience in creating business process applications and implementing Pega solutions. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, team members, and other IT personnel.
