Job Description: Technical Pega CDH Operational Decision Architect
Role Overview
The Technical Pega CDH Operational Decision Architect is responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing decision strategies and operational rules within Pega's Customer Decision Hub (CDH). This position bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation to ensure the delivery of personalized, data-driven customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Solution Architecture and Design:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
    • Design real-time and batch decisioning frameworks within Pega CDH.
    • Create and optimize decisioning components, including Next-Best-Action (NBA) strategies, predictive models, and adaptive analytics.
  2. Decisioning Implementation:
    • Configure and deploy Pega CDH features such as engagement policies, arbitration strategies, and offer prioritization.
    • Develop and implement decision logic, rules, and workflows.
    • Integrate CDH solutions with existing systems (e.g., CRM, data warehouses, and external APIs).
  3. Operational Support and Optimization:
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of decisioning solutions.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement refinements to decision strategies.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues.
  4. Data and Insights Management:
    • Work with data teams to ensure the availability of high-quality data for decision strategies.
    • Leverage customer insights, historical data, and AI/ML models to enhance decision-making.
    • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between business teams, data scientists, and IT teams to ensure alignment.
    • Provide training and documentation to ensure smooth handoffs and knowledge transfer.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Healthcare Experience (preferably in a clinical setting)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Pega CDH with hands-on experience in decision strategies, NBA Designer, and predictive models.
    • Knowledge of Pega PRPC and rules-based systems.
    • Familiarity with AI/ML, analytics, and campaign management.
    • Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other integration frameworks.
    • Strong understanding of database concepts and query optimization.
  • Certifications:
    • Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (PCDC) is highly preferred.
    • Other relevant Pega certifications (e.g., CSSA or CPDC) are a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work in Agile and cross-functional team environments.
  • Experience:
    • 3 6 years of experience in Pega CDH or related decisioning roles.
    • Experience in industries like banking, telecom, retail, or healthcare is an advantage.
Additional Considerations:
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks for industries such as banking or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploying Pega solutions.
  • Experience in managing large-scale customer interaction systems.
