Job Description :
We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a PeopleSoft Systems Analyst role.
This role involves supporting the PeopleSoft Maintenance team and re-platforming a mainframe system to a PeopleSoft Bolt-on module. Responsibilities include planning, analyzing user requirements, and automating processes using project management methodologies to align technical solutions with business needs. Key tasks include designing system solutions, conducting Fit-Gap analysis, and preparing detailed documentation such as Functional Design Documents (FDD). Additional duties involve developing and executing test plans, ensuring successful system integration, and assisting vendors while enforcing organizational standards. The position also includes diagnosing issues, supporting PeopleSoft Financials, and performing tasks to maintain seamless operations.
Required Skills:
  • Experience as a systems analyst in a technical or analytical field
  • Hands-on experience in design, implementation, and production support of PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM and HCM applications
  • Experience conducting technical PeopleSoft requirements sessions, CPR Conference Room Pilot, Fit-Gap analysis, PeopleSoft configuration and testing including System Test (ST), System Integration Test (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT) and assist in developing training documentation
  • Experience creating project documentation such as: system requirement specification, system design specifications, architectural diagrams, Functional Design Document (FDD),flowcharts, screen prototypes, wireframes, interface specifications, data conversion, process workflow, and database record and field specifications
  • SQL, PS Query, BI Publisher, PeopleTools (PeopleCode Language/ Application Engine, Component Interface, SQR), and SaaS application experience
  • Skill in business analysis and developing custom PeopleSoft solutions to complex problems
  • Experience with a Phire, PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), Test Tool, such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) – Octane (Or earlier versions of ALM)
  • Experience in database management systems (IBM Data Studio, Squirrel)
  • As a Programmer, Analyst, or Systems Administrator
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, and Visio

Preferred Skills:
  • Certified Analyst or Developer
  • SQL Language
  • Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid Software Development Methodologies
  • Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System for Texas (CAPPS) and Workforce Reporting, Accounting, and Procurement Systems (WRAPS), TWC’s version Workforce Reporting, Accounting and Procurement System  (WRAPS), and State of Texas Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS)
