Description:
The IT Business Analyst within the Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
They will work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for IT projects, ensuring that they align with organizational goals and objectives.
The IT Business Analyst will collaborate with project managers, developers, and other IT professionals to translate business requirements into technical specifications, and they will provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering:
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements for IT projects.
Business Process Analysis:
- Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Requirement Documentation:
- Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
Requirement Management:
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability and alignment with project objectives.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other IT professionals.
Solution Design:
- Collaborate with architects and developers to design solutions that meet business needs while adhering to technical constraints and best practices.
Testing Support:
- Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and testing strategies, and participate in testing activities as needed to ensure that solutions meet requirements.
Change Management:
- Support change management activities by assessing the impact of proposed changes, facilitating stakeholder buy-in
