Position: Workday HCM Consultant
Location: Walnut Creek, CA or Phoenix, AZ Hybrid
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:
- Functional HCM Consultant with strong expertise in Absence and Time Tracking
- Experience as a product owner in the space is very desirable
- Techno Functional experience is needed but building integrations is not necessary
- Deep skills in the module doing functional configurations.
Requirements:
5 ish years experience
Experience in HCM, Absence, time tracking
Workday fundamentals, business process
Reports: Simple, advanced, matrix, composite BIRT
Needs someone who can come in and work autonomously and be a doer--no handholding
Ability to interface with business units (both technical and functional)
Understand how to build integrations, though the emphasis is fine tuning versus building from scratch
(preferred) Workday extend experience
o Extend rolled out in 2020--it's a way to code in Workday without having to change the code line (understand Workday studio and Workday programming language)
Previous experience as a product owner is very nice to have.
