Power BI Data Visualization Expert

San Jose, CA

$ 60/hr C2C

 The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role requires hands-on experience with Power BI, data modeling, and the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives.
  • Design and implement data models to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Perform data analysis and create insights that drive business strategy.
  • Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
  • Train and support users on Power BI tools and best practices.
  • Stay updated with Power BI features and enhancements, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Document processes and data models for future reference and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Certification in Power BI (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
