Duties:
Business Analysis Leadership: Oversee a team of business analysts responsible for capturing and validating requirements from offering leaders and stakeholders, ensuring the right pricing attributes are identified and aligned with strategic goals.
Product backlog Management : Develop and continuously update the product backlog by documenting the business needs as user stories. This involves clearly defining the criteria for acceptance for each backlog item, ensuring they meet the project's objectives and stakeholders' expectations.
Collaboration with Technical Teams: Actively participate in Scrum events such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to maintain alignment and foster continuous improvement.
Partner with developers and technical leads to ensure calculators are built to meet the business's needs, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and ease of use.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business teams, technical developers, and senior leadership, ensuring alignment and clear communication across all stakeholders.
Risk Identification: Identify any potential risks or issues that might arise during the delivery cycle and take steps to mitigate them.
Testing & Feedback Loop: Develop quality assurance strategies, manage the creation of test cases, and ensure thorough testing. Incorporate user feedback and make necessary adjustments prior to the final launch.
Hypercare: Assist in developing processes for post-production support to ensure any post-deployment issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Skills:
Experience in Pricing: 5-7 years of experience in pricing strategy, with a strong focus on non-effort-based pricing models (e.g., value-based, output-based).
Leadership & Collaboration: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and working closely with senior business leaders and technical teams.
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Experience overseeing business analysts to capture and quantify requirements for complex pricing tools or models.
Analytical Skills: Strong business analysis skills with experience in quantifying pricing attributes and measuring their impact on pricing models.
Project Management: Experience managing large-scale product or program development, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing the development of pricing tools or calculators.
Strong understanding of pricing models used in professional services, technology, or SaaS environments.
