Job Description:- Circuit Management Product Owner
Seeking a skilled individual to drive our Circuit Management capabilities as a Product Owner. Role will lead the end-to-end management of Client's global data circuits entailing $50M in annual global spend and be responsible for managing the circuit processes for circuit life-cycle (e.g., requesting, managing, and retiring all voice and data circuits), data needs to manage and optimize circuit costs along with driving process improvements to improve the overall data quality, and leading efforts to enable invoicing and billing for circuits in partnership with VMO and Payables that Calero tool provides the foundation for. Role will serve as the subject matter expert on requesting, managing, and retiring circuits and support the various product owners who own ~1K circuits at sites globally. This role would involve integrating all Client circuit data into the Calero application (primary data circuit inventory database), partnering with vendor on enhancing the functionality of Calero, and working with telecom providers on installation issues and identifying zero usage circuits, problematic circuits, and billing issues. Given the importance of high network circuit reliability, role is critical in terms of our network reliability and enabling business objectives with new site deployments requiring circuits and also the critical nature of enabling vendors to be paid in a timely manner.
Key Initiatives:-
Drive Calero adoption for integrating all CLIENT-owned circuits globally into the tool (currently 50% complete) in partnership with the vendor, CX, Pioneer, Denbury, H&P for full visibility of spend and management
Refine and enhance circuit management processes accounting for and enabling invoicing and payables requirements and use-cases
Instill circuit management processes and data quality initiatives across SITS / H&P
Automate invoicing and payments leveraging Calero capabilities to remove manual processing of ~2K invoices submitted / coded / approved per month to achieve WF efficiencies and strengthen our reliability and resiliency
Partner with telecom providers to address installation issues, identify zero usage circuits, and resolve billing discrepancies.
Expand Calero capabilities to business-owned circuits to leverage the full scale of Client in terms of costs and pricing
Required Skills:-
Understanding of network and telecommunications technologies (e.g., voice, direct internet, circuit diversity, SDWAN, network protocols, etc).
Willingness to learn new things with ability look big picture across multiple process areas (e.g., circuits, invoicing, billing) to optimize processes end-to-end
Familiarity with tools to analyze circuit usage, bandwidth requirements, and billing reports.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and vendors.
Analytical skills to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement.
High initiative with ability to push things through to completion.
