Key items:

-  This is for a proposal and is NOT a funded position. We are expecting that we will need this person within the next two weeks to support orals and additional proposal activities. Actual award is expected December/January.

-  There is an orals component to this role, meaning they will need to be a great public speaker in order to present to the customer.

This person will have to have TS/SCI clearance and a PMP certification (both must be current).

This person will also need to have worked at CISA before (either as a government employee or a contactor).

-  This person MUST have experience managing large teams 75+ people (this program will be upwards of 100 FTE once fully staffed).

-  This person MUST be able to report on site at CISA HQ at least once per week in the DC area, so they will need to be local.

-  The salary is flexible, but please try to find someone under $215,000 annually.

This is a true PM role, so we are not looking for a technical person. We are looking for someone with experience managing large programs, Profit and Loss, customer relationships, etc.

 

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide program management capability and professional business relations with a diverse customer base and across a multi-disciplined team which includes Acquisition Managers, Executive Assistants, Business Analysts, Financial Analysts, Strategic Communications, Graphics Artists, Training and Exercise personnel, Information Managers and Data Analysts.
  • Formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
  • Integrate and coordinate all activities needed to execute requirements, including the timeliness, completeness and quality of problem identification, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), timely identification and resolution of issues, effective/responsive management of Subcontractors, overall customer satisfaction, and professional and ethical behavior.
  • Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and maintain an effective Project Management Plan and Quality Control (QC) program to include a schedule of deliverables and monthly reporting requirements.
  • Manage Profit / Loss contract responsibilities.
  • Support Business Development opportunities that are related to the individuals assigned contract and personal expertise.

 

Required Educations, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Masters degree required
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ recent and relevant experience managing the subject task in a contract of similar size and scope.
  • Microsoft Office product proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Desired)

  • Experience supporting cyber security related organizations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred but not required.
  • TS/SCI clearance is required.
