This is a seller-doer role that requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in any discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.). The successful candidate will be responsible for project delivery, client engagement, proposal preparation, and strategic business development.
Market salary based on experience.
Someone with military experience would be more successful in this role.
JOB SUMMARY
Plans and directs all design engineers, drafters, and technical engineers working for a specific client for a specific
indefinite delivery contract.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Ensures all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's
established policies and objectives.
? Establishes quality control and safety policies.
? Maintains relationships with management, team members, and important clients and subcontractors.
? Coordinates new critical project partners and helps foster relationships between management and those
new business prospects.
? Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD
designs.
? Responsibilities also include estimating costs, estimating personnel and material needs, preparing
proposals, and establishing completion dates.
? Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and
standards.
? Mentor junior technical staff.
? Manage project budget and schedule and work with finance on invoicing.
? QC technical products.
? Evaluates and approves changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.
? Fostering Team Collaboration: Encourage and facilitate a collaborative work environment. Mediate conflicts
and promote teamwork.
? Maintaining Company Culture: Uphold and promote the organization's values and culture. Engage in
