The City of Atlanta, AIM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Relationship Management Mentor (Project Manager). In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and mentorship to business relationship managers within our organization and there will be direct ownership of a small number of highly sensitive and complex projects. You will play a crucial role in fostering the professional development of our team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles, while maintaining deliverables as a project manager for the efforts under your management.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentorship and Coaching: Provide mentorship and coaching to business relationship managers at various levels of experience. Offer guidance on best practices, methodologies, and strategies for successful business relationship management. Assisting with stakeholder engagement and preparing for long-term success.
Project Management Support: Assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Offer advice on project management tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Business Relationship Management Support: Work closely with business relationship managers to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners. Provide guidance on effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution strategies.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within project management and business relationship management functions. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to disseminate best practices, lessons learned, and industry trends related to business relationship management. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and business relationship management roles.

Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
