1.Project Planning and Management: · Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resources. · Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria. · Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of cloud projects. · Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet project goals. 2.Cloud Migration and Transformation: · Create strategies for cloud exploitation, including business case development and cloud architecture design. · Lead the migration of on-premise applications to the cloud, considering re- building using cloud-native technologies or purchasing from Cloud SaaS providers. · Architect migration approaches, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations. · Innovate delivery methods using agile and cloud tools to enhance project execution. · Organize and prioritize applications to be migrated based on business criticality, complexity, and dependencies. · Experience in managing application inventories, documentation, and related metadata. · Understand industry-standard frameworks and tools for application discovery and assessment (e.g., CMDB, ServiceNow). · Understand the migration concepts of 6R Strategy - Rehost, Re-platform and Refactor etc. 3.Stakeholder Management: · Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. · Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly. · Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives. · Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with application owners, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams. · Coordinate and schedule interviews, workshops, and meetings with relevant stakeholders. · Manage stakeholder expectations and addressing concerns or objections. 4.Resource Management: · Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet project needs. · Collaborate with HR and other departments to secure necessary resources. · Ensure team members are adequately trained and equipped to perform their roles. 5.Risk Management: · Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. · Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. · Implement contingency plans to address unexpected issues. 6.Quality Assurance: · Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations. · Implement best practices and industry standards in project execution. · Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements. 7.Budget Management: · Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are within approved limits. · Monitor expenditures and report on financial performance. · Identify and address any budget variances or financial risks. 8.Documentation and Reporting: · Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records. · Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders. · Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible. |
