Position: Senior Project Manager

Feedback we received on a past candidate to speak to expectations on the role:

Candidate has great experience but the panel had concerns about his being able to fit into our bank culture.

The candidate is very strongly rooted in the consulting culture with to taking on individual assignments and turning them over based on his examples from Accenture.

Additionally some of his responses leaned towards reactive versus proactive approaches towards problem solving.
Senior Project Manager Description:

The role of the Sr. Project Manager is to apply knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques throughout the entire project lifecycle in to deliver projects successfully with high quality.

This requires planning, managing team and project progress, collaborating and communicating with multiple stakeholders, and resolving any issues timely and effectively.

Interview was straight forward; a lot of questions revolved around strength & weaknesses, generic questions of that nature.

They are looking for an enterprise PM who is more business-focused but can mix in tech as needed.
They are also having resource management issues (overbooked resources) on their current projects and are looking for a solution
