We are looking for an inspirational Change Management Leader, who can work closely with Site and Program Leadership to develop and execute a programme of activities that will engage, inspire and inform colleagues at both Waltham and Seaport. When we move into the new site in 2026, you will have overseen a programme of activity that helps colleagues feel excited about, and ready for their move.
Accountabilities
Develops and executes change management strategy and plan and activities in line with AstraZeneca Global requirements and standards
Develops deep understanding of stakeholder needs; counsels program + site LT on strategies to meet these needs through effective change interventions including communications, training, engagement activities, involvement in project activities
Ensures that strategies employed by the program are inclusive and meet the diverse needs of the employed / contracted staff populations at the current and new sites
Collaborates to consider current & future external collaborators, including suppliers, and articulates and executes suitable change strategies
Establishes strong relationships with internal communications networks; executes communications activities through established AZ & Alexion channels, embracing new technologies and channels as they emerge
Oversees engagement of agency support (e.g. design) and contract support for flexing communications and change management delivery resource
Provides accurate and timely forecast and plans for activities needed, and resource required to support
May project manage and develop content & materials for signature change events (e.g. new site visit, shared site socials, building vision sharing, move planning, leaving celebrations, mock-up establishment, commuter activities)
Liaises with communications & change teams supporting business changes that happen in BAU during the programme timeline
Offers appropriate coaching and support to local communications resources, and/or other program team members to uphold the highest standards of program communication
Provides direct supervision to assigned program resources as program workload requires
Liaises with Business-As-Usual communications network, and communications specialists on other relevant projects
Essential Criteria
Graduate degree in change management or communications-related field
Demonstrated track record in change or communications management in a complex multi-workstream / multi-year program
Confidence working with multiple stakeholders with competing demands
Experience working with external agencies for content development and delivery
Experience supporting senior leaders through communications counsel
Passion for sustainability
