Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the
implementation and management of the Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance
module. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle
ERP, hands-on experience with Oracle Finance, and a proven track
record in project management. This role is essential in ensuring that
the Finance module aligns with the organization’s financial goals and
processes.
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight
Oversee coordination of large-scale programs and multiple complex
delivery projects.
Lead major projects, initiatives, and functional groups.
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with finance teams, IT departments, and external
consultants to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Project Planning
Develop comprehensive program and project plans, detailing resources,
deliverables, and timelines.
Accountable for delivering initiatives from conception to implementation.
Customization and Configuration
Oversee the customization and configuration of the Finance module to
meet specific organizational needs.
Ensure proper configuration of financial processes such as accounts
payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Testing and Quality Assurance
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the Finance module operates
correctly and meets requirements.
Address and resolve any issues or bugs identified during testing.
Training and Support
Coordinate training sessions for end-users to ensure proficiency with
the new system.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for post-implementation issues.
Change Management
Manage the change management process to facilitate smooth transitions
from legacy systems to the new ERP module.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of
progress and changes.
Performance Monitoring
Monitor the performance of the Finance module to ensure optimal functionality.
Implement improvements and optimizations based on feedback and
performance metrics.
Reporting and Compliance
Ensure the Finance module adheres to relevant regulatory and
compliance requirements.
Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights for decision-making.
Skills and Qualifications
Project Management: Strong skills in methodologies like Agile and
Waterfall to effectively lead implementations.
ERP Expertise: 10-15 years in Oracle ERP, with at least 5 years in
Oracle Fusion implementation, focusing on Finance and Supply Chain
Management (SCM).
Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial processes and
accounting principles.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with
stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executives.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for
optimizing system performance.
Tools and Resources
Oracle Cloud Fusion Documentation: Utilize official documentation for
guidance and best practices.
Project Management Software: Experience with tools like Microsoft
Project, Jira, or Quality Center (ALM) for managing tasks and
timelines.
Training Materials: Leverage Oracle’s training resources and
certifications to ensure team proficiency in the system.
