Role Description:
Technology are seeking a senior software engineering professional to work in the Global Markets Technology division of BOA. The successful candidate will work closely with our technical, operations and business partners to define requirements, design, develop, implement, and support key business applications. The role requires the developer to collaborate and work with teams across several regions therefore must possess strong communication skills and be adaptable.
The Team:
XVA Technology provides an application suite that supports the Risk Optimization FICC trading desk, Uncleared Margin Rules (UMR) functions, and provides intraday/end-of-day Risk, PL calculations, as well as portfolio management tools for VaR estimation, trade blotters, hedge construction and trade compression validation and execution.
Role Responsibilities:
1- Work individually or part of a team on developing, supporting, enhancing, extending, testing, and delivering existing and new software
2- Collaborate and work with multi-regional teams using Agile best practices
3- Participate in software design, development, testing, L3 support, requirements gathering and creating functional specifications documents
1-Excellent full stack development skills with Python and Quartz (preferred)
2-Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns skills
3-Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
4-Excellent attention to details
5-Strong team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
6-Good understanding of Financial Derivatives (Swaps, Futures, ...)
7-Good understanding of testing concepts (TDD, BDD ...)
8-Possess a solid degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant analytical degree
